America has put age requirements in place to serve as roadblocks for young people looking to buy products such as alcohol, cigarettes, and guns, but today a concerned parent wants to apply those same standards to something else he thinks is quickly becoming a threat to American kids: smartphones.
Should smartphones have an age requirement?
Aside from potentially detrimental effects on children’s mental health, more evidence is starting to accumulate on the addictive nature of smartphone use as well.
